Every year I want to write something that feels like Halloween.
Not just pumpkins and candy—but crisp autumn nights, haunted places, lantern light, old books, and that feeling that something is watching from the shadows.
The Hallows Are Monstrous became exactly that.
This novella follows Rue, Dacre, Evelyn, Remington, Layla, Thrush, and the rest of the Veil of Shadows cast as they attend a Halloween masquerade at Loyola. What begins as a mission to steal an ancient book quickly turns into a fight for survival when the Harvest Wraith emerges from the Veil.

I wanted this story to feel like:
🎃 Halloween night
📚 Exploring a forbidden library
🕯️ Reading by candlelight
❤️ Falling in love with characters all over again
👻 Telling ghost stories with friends
And of course, Lucipurr insisted on being involved.
The Hallows Are Monstrous is FREE on Kindle June 28–July 2.
