Hello, Hellions!
I have a big update from the Realm today, and it includes a little printing chaos, some exciting preorder news, and a Friday livestream you will definitely want to stop by for.
For the first time ever, The Veil Gazette will be delayed by two days.
Unfortunately, my printer sent this month’s Gazette with the entire front page missing. Not misprinted. Not slightly off. Just… completely blank. I’ll be sharing pictures so you can see the chaos for yourself.
The earliest they can reprint and get the corrected Gazettes to me is Friday, which means Veil Gazette prep night will now be Friday, 10/2.
It’s frustrating, but we are rolling with it. The good news is that this month’s extras are so much fun. I have some beautiful postcard and bookmark designs ready to go, and during prep night I’ll also be doing a few auctions for bundles of postcards from previous months.
These Lessons Are Merciless Release Update
The release of These Lessons Are Merciless is getting closer, and there is so much happening behind the scenes.
The paperbacks have shipped, which is always an exciting step. Hardcovers usually take about one to two weeks longer, so those will follow as soon as they arrive.
Nearly all of the Halloween gift pack items are here for the first 30 preorders, and I’ll be sharing pictures of those as well.
The first 20 orders will also be receiving T-shirts. We passed 20 preorders a few weeks ago, so thank you all so much for the support!
The Halloween gift packs will include:

- Plushies arriving soon
These little extras have been so fun to put together, and I cannot wait for you to see everything in person.

I’ll also be sharing updates for the upcoming Veil of Shadows: Midnight Creatures series during the livestream, so bring your questions.

This will be a four-book series releasing in summer 2027, with a deluxe edition Kickstarter planned for spring 2027. There will be lots of fun extras, and I cannot wait to start sharing more of this world with you.
